Learning Objectives
When you have finished section 3.3, you should be able to:
- Explain what mini design and complete design are, and outline their differences.
- Describe important aspects of a complete game design.
- Document a game design in a professional manner.
- Look analytically at a sample game design.
Required Tasks
- Study pages 612-630 of Chapter 17 in the eTextbook.
- Study carefully the sample game design document found in that section.
- Revise the TREK game design to utilize today's advanced technology: high CPU speed, larger memory, higher display resolution, etc.
- Complete the Chapter 17 quiz, and check your answers in Appendix A.
Optional Tasks
Share your revised TREK game design with your fellow students using the General Discussion Forum.
OR
- Collaborate with your fellow students to work out a design for a new game.
